Unique identification numbers help to recognise, communicate or retrieve information on daily basis. LIN World has developed an application which can help making your "Geographical Location" to be represented and shared with Unique Id called Location Identification Number (LIN). Which is easy to remember and share, one can avoid typing entire address whenever they need to share geographical address location or to locate anything.
LIN World allows you to create a QR code for your location along with Unique Id, which can be shared to others on any medium of communication. Once you have the ID or QR Code you can retrieve the address easily. The application is available and can be used in India and rest of the world. We yet to test the application from various locations in the world. Hope it works greatly. The images in the blog depict that this location belongs to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
We see great possibilities of utilising this application as standalone app or by integrating with web applications which can help customers save the address of a particular location just in few clicks and can be saved to retrieve or share any time later.
