Being a first time Android user I'm very excited and waiting for the Android 4.4.4 update for Motorola X, E and G mobiles. Also Motorola is my favourite mobile brands. My First Motorola mobile MOTOROLA C168 ( 2006 ), Second Motorola MOTOROKR E8 along with MOTOROKR S9 Headset ( 2009 )is my loving mobile and the Third MOTO X  ( 2014 ), gone crazy about the mobile and bought it. I was against and disliked to use Android OS mobiles as I used iPhone - IOS for few years, but now I see the user interfaces of both the OS brands are somewhat becoming similar.. complexity is gone.. user friendly, smart, sleek and very handy. Of all the Android phones I believe Moto X, Moto E and Nexus 5 or 7 are very handy as iPhone 4/4S/5/5S/5C. 
Motorola India stated that they have began rolling out the updates for Moto X, G & E. The update is being released in phases.
To manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone < Software update.
