• Reset your router to factory default.
• Most routers / Wi-Fi devices have basic firewall features, please enable for sure.
• Disable PING & SSH to all ports on your router.
• Disable HTTP & HTTPS on WAN & LAN ports. Enable HTTPS only on LAN port for accessing your router from within your home network.
• Update your home router firmware to latest date.
• Speak to your ISP and change your routers public IP or DHCP IP.
• Set complex passwords to your router.
• Enable MAC ID based authentication for Wi-Fi access.
